Astrology

Astrology is the study of the Planets and how they influence us in our daily lives.

A birth chart is like a photograph of the heavens at the exact location  and time of   birth.

Most people know their 'sun sign' Astrology and this is the form of Astrology used in newspapers, but it's very basic.

Astrology is not a game. It is a very useful tool in helping us to understand who we are, why we are and how we fit into this world.

A Natal chart is a map of all the Planets at birth. The chart is divided into twelve sections which are called houses, with each house representing a different aspect of ones life, such as work, heath, home etc. Planets placed within these houses can show how a person feels or reacts to that particular part of their life. e.g. Mars in the sixth house could show someone who is very hard working, although other planets and aspects have to be taken into account.

Once a Natal/Birth chart is drawn it can then be studied to find what influences the planets will have on a persons life.

Transits - As Planets move around the solar system they continue to make different aspects to the planets in the natal/birth chart. This can show us how different planets are influencing different areas of our life. By studying transits we can learn to use their influences to our advantage.

Systastry Astrology - This is the method used to compare two individuals Natal charts to see how they will get along with each other. It is a good way to find out the strong and weak areas within the relationship, whether it love, business etc.

Mundane Astrology -  This is a form of Astrology used to examine world events and make predictions about National affairs, economics, wars etc.

Horary Astrology - This is a form of Astrology used to answer a question. A chart is cast at the exact moment a question is asked. There are very strict rules and a question can only be asked once for the chart to be valid.

Astrology is far more involved than the newspapers would have you believe. No two charts are identical and no two sun signs are the same. They may have similarities but they are never the same.

Astrology does not predict the future as such. It does show us the best time for opportunities, therefore enabling us to use the positive side of each planet. For example a planet can show us when a love opportunity presents itself, but it's up to each individual to use that energy positively. It is no good sitting at home waiting for the romance to come to you. You need to go out and socialise in order for the opportunity to present itself. Equally if a planet indicates danger, you don't start doing any dangerous sports etc.
